Parksons Packaging was founded in 1996 by Ramesh Kejriwal following a split with Parksons Cartamundi. Up until then, the company’s focal point was commercial printing. With the establishment of Parksons Packaging, printed packaging took precedence to cater to the increasing market needs.
Today, Parksons is a global packaging solutions provider. Helmed by Ramesh Kejriwal as Chairman, Siddharth Kejriwal as CEO, and Chaitanya Kejriwal as Joint MD, we continue to make great strides in meeting the ever-increasing global market demand across market sectors. We have grown from strength to strength, and today, to our credit, we have a total of 12 state-of-the-art sites in India, and 1 in Dar es Salaam – Tanzania, in addition to 2 trading entities – Belgium (Parksons Packaging BV) and the UK (Parksons Packaging Ltd.).

1996

Operations commence with the establishment of the Daman plant.

2001

Daman plant undergoes expansion to meet increased demand.

2005

Parksons is the first to introduce UV printing in India.

2006

Chrys Capital invests in Parksons Packaging.

2007

Daman plant scales up, and Parksons builds a reputation for value-added packaging.

New investment funds the foundation of the Chakan plant. To date, it remains Parksons’ largest facility.

2010

The first plant in Pantnagar is set up.

2013

The Chakan plant begins developing capabilities to manufacture gable top cartons.

2015

The second Pantnagar plant is set up Kadaara Capital becomes a significant investment partner, facilitating further development.

2017

Parksons inaugurates world-class printing facilities at Sri City, followed by Assam.

2019

The first significant development in digital printing takes place with the introduction of the HP30000 at Daman.

2021

The PE group, Warburg Pincus, acquires a majority stake in Parksons Packaging, but the founding Kejriwal family continues to retain its significant leadership roles.

2022

Continuing its growth trajectory, Parksons acquires Manohar Packaging, resulting in the foundation of two manufacturing facilities. – Rajpura (Punjab) and Goa, along with making a mark in the alcoholic beverages sector.

2023

  • Further acquisitions followed, with MK Packaging and Fortuner.
  • Parksons becomes the largest value-added paper packaging provider across consumer and healthcare markets.
  • The first international printing facility (Tanzania) is announced.
  • Trading entities established in Europe.

Ramamurthy Madanraj

Madan joined Parksons in 2022, where he heads the Healthcare vertical. A veteran in the packaging business, he holds a PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing and has over 29 years of experience in the packaging industry. Madan has worked in and led large sales and marketing teams across various organisations like Sharp Industries, Uflex, Essel Propack, Edelman, and more. Throughout his career, Madan has worked across a wide range of customer segments, including paper and non-paper packaging solutions. His personal interests include cricket, volleyball, and singing classic retro melodies.

Unnati Divecha Patel

Unnati has close to ten years of work experience, and is enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. She holds a dual degree in BBA.LLB from Symbiosis Law School, Pune and has completed diplomas in Mergers and Acquisitions, and Intellectual Property Law. Prior to joining Parksons, Unnati worked with India’s leading law firms, Platinum Partners and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, in the areas of General Corporate, M&A, and Private Equity Practice. She has worked on significant cross-border mandates across various sectors and is recognised for both her strategic insights and attention to detail.

Ravindra Patil

Ravindra joined Parksons in the year 2002 and has over 25 years of industry experience. His industry experience includes companies such as Milton Exports and Madhur Industries. At Parksons, Ravindra is responsible for Marketing and Sales – Healthcare, QSR and Exports Business. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences – Pulp and Paper Science and Technology, and a Master’s degree in International Business Management.

Srikanth Ramamurthy

Srikanth has over 20 years of industry experience. Before Parksons until 2001, he worked with leading international companies such as Esko Graphics. At Parksons, he is responsible for Gable Top packaging solutions. Srikanth is an engineer with a specialisation in electronics and instrumentation.

Shailesh Potdar

Shailesh joined Parksons in 1998 and has served in various sales, marketing, and leadership roles. With over 25 years of experience in the packaging industry he has previously worked with companies like PG Foils Ltd. and Colour Cartons Ltd. Shailesh is a Commerce graduate and has done his MBA with specialisation in Marketing. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having closely worked with F&B, alcobev, health and hygiene, and several other industrial OTC and branded segments. With his never-say-never attitude and cool-minded strategies, he has won as well as grown various reputed brands for the organization.

Vivek Kulkarni

Vivek has about 23 years of work experience. He holds a Master's degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism, Bangalore. Prior to joining Parksons, Vivek was heading HR for Radio Mirchi. He began his career with ITC and thereafter went on to work with Kotak Life Insurance, and PepsiCo in various capacities. Vivek brings a wide range of work experience, having worked in different sectors and with companies at different stages of their maturity curves in the areas of Business Partnering, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Culture Transformation.

Sabyasachi C Thakur

Sabyasachi (Saby) joined Parksons Packaging Limited  in 2017, and has been driving various digital transformation projects, to support the rapid growth of the company over the  last few years. He has over   21 years of experience as CIO, having worked in IT leadership roles, in leading Indian and global organisations. Saby holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from IIM Calcutta, and B.E. in Electronics and Telecomm Engineering from Jadavpur University Kolkata. He also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification  from PMI(USA). Prior to joining Parksons, Saby worked in diverse technology landscapes and handled complex projects during his career, in organisations such as ITC Ltd, Aon India, Century Ply.

Chaitanya Kejriwal

Following his father and brother, Chaitanya embarked upon his career at Parksons Packaging in 2003. Before that, he headed and promoted a software company that was based out of India and the UK. At Parksons, Chaitanya oversees finance, HR and information systems. He is a business graduate from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Chaitanya is also an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, Mumbai.

Siddharth Kejriwal

Siddharth has been associated with Parksons since its inception in 1996 and has been instrumental in starting the packaging business. With over 25 years of industry experience, he is responsible for strategic initiatives and the long-term vision and growth of the company. He was featured in the Forbes Magazine in India, where Parksons Packaging was selected as one of the thirteen hidden gems of 2015. Siddharth is a management graduate from the University of Southern California – Los Angeles, with a Major in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He is also an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, Mumbai.

Ramesh Kejriwal

Ramesh Kejriwal is an industry veteran and a technocrat with 50+ years of experience in the printing and packaging business. A true visionary, he is responsible for bringing several new technologies to India. Mr. Kejriwal is a commerce graduate and qualified printing technologist. In 1996, he started Parksons Packaging from a small 1,500 sq. ft. space in Daman, with a vision to be one of the best. He steered the company to attain leadership status in the packaging industry. Mr. Kejriwal has served as the President of The Bombay Master Printers’ Association and as the Director of the Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Carton Manufacturers Association in the past.

Manoj Jaju

Manoj joined Parksons in 2004 and has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounts. Before Parksons, Manoj worked with companies like Multi Organics Ltd. and Krishna Lifestyle Technologies Ltd. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India respectively.

Amit Taneja

Amit Taneja is an IIM Alumni, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Wharton certified professional with 19+ years of experience across industrial, automotive, and packaging industries, with very strong domain expertise in P&L management, Business and Operational transformations, improving organisational effectiveness through effective team building, continuous improvement, and high result-oriented culture. Amit’s personal interests include listening to music, singing, watching, and playing cricket.
